Lightspark CEO and co-founder David Marcus reiterated his long-term bullish outlook for Bitcoin in a recent interview with CNBC, saying the leading cryptocurrency could potentially reach $1 million.
Marcus described a seven-figure target for Bitcoin, stating: “Over the long term, this thing should be worth $1 million or more.” He added that while he remains “very bullish” over the long run, he does not know when Bitcoin would reach that level.
Marcus said Bitcoin’s price behavior can vary in the short term, noting that it “ebbs and flows,” but that over the long run it “always trends in the same direction.”
Despite his long-term projection, Marcus stopped short of providing a short-term price prediction or a specific timeline for when Bitcoin might hit $1 million.
