On May 12, 2026, the Digital Trust in Finance 2026 forum will officially take place at the Ascott West Lake Hotel in Hanoi under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Security, the State Bank of Vietnam, and the Ministry of Finance.
The forum is organized by the Digital Trust Alliance, in cooperation with the Cyber Security Department and High-Tech Crime Prevention, and the National Cyber Security Association. MoMo Online Mobile Services Joint Stock Company serves as a co-organizer.
The event is expected to become a forum for dialogue and joint action across the financial ecosystem, bringing together more than 1,000 delegates from regulators, financial institutions, technology companies, the press, KOLs, business communities, small business owners, and users of financial applications. It will feature more than 30 speakers and leading experts, along with over 20 exhibition booths focused on digital trust and technology trends in the financial and banking sector.
This year’s forum focuses on building and shaping digital trust in finance in the AI era; proposing solutions and policies to create a safe, transparent, and trusted digital financial environment; sharing initiatives to protect digital trust and strengthen cooperation among regulators, businesses, media, and users; and enhancing the role and responsibility of KOLs in the financial sector.
In the morning plenary session, the forum will begin with the topic “Building digital trust in finance in the AI era.” The discussion will cover strategic issues including an overview of Vietnam’s digital finance landscape, the role of digital trust, AI applications in protecting users, combating misinformation and financial fraud, and the role of banks in building digital trust infrastructure.
The opening discussion session at the end of the morning will bring together regulators, associations, banks, technology companies, and KOLs to exchange views on shared responsibility in building a transparent, safe, and trustworthy digital financial ecosystem.
In the afternoon, the forum continues with the workshop theme “Linking to Protect – Actions to Sustain Trust” and the panel discussion “Digital Trust in AI: Safety Begins with the User.”
The sessions will address new challenges facing digital finance, including Generative AI and Deepfakes, personal data protection, and the responsibilities of KOLs in the financial sector. Discussions will also cover governance of trust, from internal corporate governance to customer experience.
From the user perspective, the forum will focus on anti-fraud solutions and asset misappropriation in cyberspace, as well as anti-money laundering in digital finance. It will also consider awareness, behavior, and expectations of customers in the AI era.
Through the forum, the Digital Trust Alliance will officially advance its 2026 Action Program with long-term initiatives to raise awareness of digital safety, verify information, promote influencer responsibility, protect users online, and disseminate practical cooperative models between the state, businesses, and society.
