EnWave Corp (TSX-V:ENW, OTC:NWVCF, FRA:E4U) said earlier this week it has signed a new commercial agreement with Rhizome, a food and farming venture founded by Michelin-star chef Dan Barber, underscoring the company’s partner-driven growth strategy.
EnWave CEO Brent Charleton said the new deal follows more than a year of collaboration with Rhizome. During that period, Rhizome used EnWave’s REV dehydration technology to develop products derived from nutrient-dense crops.
Charleton added that Rhizome is now moving toward commercialization after acquiring REV equipment, positioning the company to scale product development and commercialization efforts using EnWave’s technology.
Charleton said Barber’s involvement adds visibility and industry credibility, particularly given Barber’s influence in regenerative agriculture. He suggested that, with continued investment, Rhizome could develop into a large-scale operation—an avenue for potential growth for EnWave.
