Roblox (NYSE: RBLX) has announced Roblox Plus, a new global subscription plan launching April 30, 2026. Priced at $4.99 USD per month, the plan is designed to provide discounts on in-game and avatar purchases and additional platform benefits, with Roblox covering the discounts so creators can continue earning the same amount per item while potentially earning more as subscribers spread Robux across more purchases.
Roblox Plus will include benefits aimed at making the platform experience more rewarding for subscribers:
Subscribers will also receive a distinct badge on their profiles, with additional features and benefits planned after launch. After the rollout, Roblox will add the ability for Roblox Plus subscribers to include recurring monthly Robux as part of their subscription, allowing subscribers to pay once for both Roblox Plus and monthly Robux.
Roblox Plus is also intended to expand monetization opportunities for creators:
Roblox said these updates are designed to support recurring revenue streams for creators as they grow teams and build businesses on the platform.
Alongside Roblox Plus, Roblox will update its existing Roblox Premium offering:
Enrico D’Angelo, Chief Business Officer at Roblox, said the subscription is designed to reward Roblox’s most engaged users while ensuring creators continue to benefit as the platform grows, helping subscribers stretch their Robux further and directly supporting the creators who make the platform possible.
