Vietnam’s wave of F&B and hospitality skills competitions is expanding, reflecting the industry’s need to standardize workforce capabilities and raise service quality in a highly competitive market. Food & Hospitality Vietnam 2026, supported by Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Industry and Trade and alongside respected associations such as the Vietnam Hotels Association, the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), and the Vietnam Housekeeping Club, is more than a competition; it connects skills, brands, solutions and business opportunities within an immersive exhibition and trade ecosystem. In recent years, the ecosystem of F&B and hospitality competitions in Vietnam has grown rapidly, driven by two major market trends: the demand to raise skill levels in a competitive environment and the pressure to standardize service quality for discerning customers in restaurants, hotels and modern F&B chains. From barista skills, sensory evaluation, professional kitchen techniques to hotel operations, competitions have become a new meeting point for the industry’s workforce and a market-driven benchmark of professional competence. Vietnam Aromaster Championship places emphasis on aroma and sensory analysis, becoming central to competition and linking quality control with product development. The Vietnam Barista Competition, Vietnam Aromaster Championship, and Vietnam Culinary Challenge continue to attract attention; notably, the 2026 edition marks VNCC’s formal endorsement by the World Association of Chefs Societies, reinforcing international standards. The events are staged within Food & Hospitality Vietnam 2026 at SECC, Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, spanning about 13,000 square meters, with around 400 exhibitors from 27 countries and more than 20 international pavilions. About 17,000 industry professionals are expected to attend, including business owners, senior managers, industry experts and investors, creating a nexus between skill, brand and market. The scale helps transform competitions from “win to compete” into touchpoints between skill and market, where professional standards are observed and upgraded in response to real-world business needs. A new highlight for 2026 is the debut of the Vietnam Housekeeping Competition, organized in cooperation with the Vietnam Tourism Association and the Vietnam Housekeeping Club, further anchoring housekeeping as a core professional standard. The 2026 program is supported by leading industry sponsors and partners, expanding the ecosystem of ingredients, equipment, beverage and hotel operations solutions that underpin the events. Beyond competitions, Food & Hospitality Vietnam 2026 expands into strategic trade bridging via FHV Premier Connect, arranging pre-planned one-on-one meetings between potential buyers and high-quality exhibitors to optimize collaboration in the F&B-hospitality sector.
