On April 17, information from the Hai Phong City People’s Council indicated that the city government has prepared a proposal for the City People’s Council to approve a list of projects and works requiring land recovery in 2026. The proposal totals 2,524 hectares to implement 71 investment projects, mainly in transport infrastructure, industrial development and urban development.

It will also reclaim 27.67 hectares to the east of Niêm Sơn Nội hill in Việt Khê ward.
