HDBank targets 1.2 quadrillion dong in assets and a 41% rise in earnings before tax for 2026. The Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank, HOSE: HDB) published the 2026 annual general meeting documents outlining proposals on the business plan, profit distribution, capital contributions and share purchases, and other items. Profit target for 2026 up 41%. HDBank aims to end 2026 with total assets of about 1.2 quadrillion dong, up 28% from the start of the year. Shareholders’ equity stands at 103,088 billion dong, up 32%. Total mobilization of funds is expected to exceed 1 quadrillion dong, up 328%; of which customer deposits and issuance of debt instruments reach 821,773 billion dong, up 27%. Total outstanding loans are targeted at 804,562 billion dong, up 37% from the start and not exceeding the limit approved by the SBV. Pre-tax profit target is 30,100 billion dong, up 41% versus 2025 results. Dividend payout and share issuance are planned to total 30%. The bank also outlines plans to contribute capital, buy and sell shares and contribute capital at other banks or credit institutions to facilitate M&A and participate in structural reform programs for credit institutions, in line with government and SBV directives, including the possible setup of a subsidiary or a bank under HDBank at an international financial center in Vietnam, with investment values and ownership stakes (above 20% of charter capital) as recorded in the latest audited financial statements."
