LG’s WashTower has surpassed 3.2 million units sold globally, reflecting a shift in consumer preferences toward integrated home solutions that combine design with energy efficiency.
Launched in 2020, the WashTower has become established in 77 countries. Cumulative sales include more than 1.6 million units in North America, 160,000 in Latin America, and 130,000 in Asia.
In Vietnam, by March 2026, nearly 7,800 WashTower units had been delivered to customers, highlighting demand for smart-living products that optimize space in modern homes.
The WashTower’s core value proposition is a compact, integrated design that combines a washer and dryer in a single unit to maximize space savings.
It uses direct-drive technology with LG AI DD™ to sense load, fabric, and soil levels, automatically adjusting wash cycles to improve cleaning performance while reducing fabric wear. For drying, the Dual Inverter Heat Pump™ enables lower-temperature drying to help protect fabrics and reduce energy use.
LG also includes features designed to streamline the wash-dry process, including Smart Pairing™, which synchronizes washing and drying cycles, and Prepare to Dry, which pre-heats the dryer to shorten total wash-dry time.
Song Uk Kim, Director of Home Appliance Living Solutions at LG Electronics Vietnam, said: “LG WashTower is the result of a user-centric strategy that LG has consistently pursued. In the future, this important product will be prioritized for research and improvements to better meet customer needs and preferences.”
WashTower’s performance also points to LG’s position in Vietnam’s laundry market over the past nine years. According to GfK, in 2025 LG led with a 25.8% market share by value, particularly in the premium segment where consumers prioritize advanced technology and long-term value.
