LPBank is launching a connectivity program in Can Tho to promote dialogue, provide guidance on financing solutions, sign cooperation agreements, and expand links between enterprises, authorities, and training institutions.
The “LPBank Connect - Local Connectivity, Supporting Local Businesses” program, organized by LPBank in collaboration with the Can Tho Department of Industry and Trade, took place on April 10. The event drew more than 150 delegates, including representatives from regulatory agencies, business associations, and enterprises operating in manufacturing, commerce, logistics, and import-export, as well as training institutions in the area.
Key activities included the signing of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) between LPBank and several local entities, including the Can Tho Post Office, Tay Do University, and Can Tho Vocational College.
LPBank also signed MOUs with the People’s Committee at various administrative units, including Long Bình ward, Hoa Lựu commune, Ngọc Tố commune, Thanh Phú commune, and other enterprises. The agreements are intended to help enterprises access capital, optimize costs, and strengthen connections with training providers, thereby improving the quality of the local workforce and supporting stable regional development.
Representatives from the Can Tho Department of Industry and Trade said the conference was organized to acknowledge difficulties and obstacles faced by producers and businesses and to propose practical support solutions in the near term. In an environment where firms need more resources to recover and grow, cooperation with credit institutions is expected to improve access to capital and strengthen adaptability to the evolving economic context.
LPBank representatives noted that in recent years the Mekong Delta region has been rapidly transforming and plays a pivotal role as a key economic hub for agriculture, fisheries, and exports. Despite significant potential, the region still faces challenges such as limited access to capital, pressure from digital transformation, and the need to raise workforce skills to adapt to the new economic environment. As the regional center, Can Tho is actively promoting connectivity activities to support sustainable development of local enterprises.
The program aims to establish a long-term connectivity platform with the local business community. LPBank plans to offer flexible financial solutions and support digital transformation, optimize operations, and expand markets, aligning with the objective of promoting inclusive finance and supporting local economic development.
