Wednesday, 22/4/2026, 20:00 (GMT+7) MB Bank provides a free payment device for five years to customers opening household business accounts, effective from April 2026. Specifically, sellers can register to open a household business account directly in the MBBank 24/7 app and receive the device delivered to their location without complex procedures or any upfront costs. Each customer can redeem the offer once during the deployment period. To maintain the free usage, customers simply need to receive money via the QR code on the device monthly or maintain an average balance in the household business account. Not only a tool to facilitate transactions, the payment device is increasingly becoming a key support in the digitalization process of household businesses. Given the small, high-frequency nature of their transactions, real-time transfer confirmations help sellers reduce errors, prevent losses, and limit reliance on manual checks. According to Mibrand’s December 2025 survey, MB’s payment device sits among the solutions chosen by many household businesses, with almost 50% of those surveyed opting for it. Ms. Hoang Nhung, owner of a family restaurant in Hanoi, said the payment device makes selling easier and more secure. Previously, whenever customers transferred money, she had to constantly check her phone to confirm the transaction. “Now, just listening for the device’s notification tells me the money has arrived, faster and more accurately, with no risk of miscommunication or loss,” she said. She also noted that the five-year free usage helps reduce operating costs, especially for small models. “The savings can be used to rotate capital or cover additional store expenses, so I feel more secure,” she added. In the near future, MB will continue to develop digital solutions for household businesses to help manage finances proactively and adapt to the increasingly digitalized business environment and changing government policies. MB Seller – a set of digital solutions for household businesses – integrates the payment device as an important component. The MB Seller digital solution provides tools for income and expense management, revenue tracking, quarterly account statements, tax declaration support, and access to capital, aiming to simplify daily business operations for sellers and make trading more secure. According to the bank’s representative, the solutions are built based on real needs, focusing on cash flow management, compliance, and enhancing business efficiency. The prolonged free device period, coupled with management tools, helps the product reach more small customers. In the coming period, MB will continue to develop digital solutions for household businesses to support proactive financial management and align with an increasingly digital business environment and policy changes by the state.
