In mid-April, dozens of workers are upgrading and widening the DT784C road on the Bàu Nàng – Bàu Cốp section in Ninh Thạnh ward, pushing ahead with construction under hot weather. The project is being fast-tracked on site, with teams laying crushed stone to strengthen the roadbed and assembling wooden forms in preparation for pouring concrete for the curb and sidewalk.
Local residents said the previous road had deteriorated due to heavy truck traffic, making travel more difficult. The widening project is intended to address these issues by increasing road capacity and improving safety. Workers noted that the project has entered an acceleration phase, prompting teams to take advantage of favorable weather to maintain the planned schedule.
The work covers approximately 3.1 km, connecting from DT781 at the Bàu Nàng junction to DT784 at the Bàu Cốp junction. Construction began on December 25, 2024, with an expected completion date of September 26, 2026.
The design calls for a 30-meter-wide carriageway, along with synchronized lighting and drainage systems to improve capacity and safety for road users.
DT784C is described as a key transport artery and a gateway to Tân Ninh Ward and the Tay Ninh Holy See area. Residents along the route support the widening, expecting the road to be more spacious and easier to use once the upgrade is completed.
