Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is reaffirming the company’s commitment to its native token, XRP, as he returns to the public stage at the XRP Las Vegas 2026 conference. In posts shared on X, Garlinghouse highlighted XRP’s role within the Ripple ecosystem and reiterated that the company will not “fold under pressure.”
Garlinghouse’s updates included selfies from the event, such as a two-part photo taken along the Las Vegas Strip with the Treasure Island hotel in the background, along with visuals featuring the XRP logo. The posts emphasized XRP as central to Ripple’s mission and framed the company’s approach as consistent messaging to stakeholders.
Garlinghouse also aligned with remarks from Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who said a CEO’s responsibility is to communicate and re-communicate the company’s “North Star.” In a recent X Spaces broadcast, Garlinghouse described XRP as the company’s “heartbeat.”
While Garlinghouse’s comments reflect ongoing frustration among some observers regarding XRP’s performance, the token is currently up about 4% as part of a broader market recovery.
