Sacombank has announced the seizure of collateral real estate assets belonging to FLC in Gia Lai to recover a bad debt related to Bamboo Airways.
On March 31, 2026, the Debt Handling Department - Risk Management Division of Sacombank (HOSE: STB) issued a notice regarding the application of collateral seizure measures for a bad debt involving Bamboo Airways and FLC.
Sacombank notified Bamboo Airways, FLC, the Dak Doa commune People’s Committee (Gia Lai Province), and the Dak Doa commune Police (Gia Lai).
Earlier, on March 20, 2026, Sacombank issued Notice No. 409/TB-P.XLN requiring the borrower to repay the debt and requesting the collateral/holder of the secured assets to voluntarily hand over the collateral and legal asset documents for debt servicing by March 27, 2026. The borrower and the collateral/holder did not comply with the notice.
As of March 31, 2026, Sacombank issued Decision No. 521/QĐ-PXLN on seizing the collateral for the Bamboo Airways bad debt, in accordance with the referenced contracts, and announced the application of collateral seizure measures under the cited contracts in accordance with the law.
The seized collateral includes land use rights covering 86,308.9 square meters, comprising 86,267.5 square meters of rural residential land and 41.4 square meters of urban land, under 355 land-use certificates. The collateral also includes ownership of houses and other assets attached to the land.
The assets are located in Zone C - residential villa area within the Dak Doa complex, Dak Doa Commune, Gia Lai Province (now Dak Doa Commune, Gia Lai Province). The land use rights were issued by the Gia Lai Department of Natural Resources and Environment on 09/09/2021.
The owner is FLC Group Joint Stock Company. The land use term ends on 27/07/2071. The land origin is land allocated by the State with land-use fees.
The details of the 355 land-use certificates, house ownership, and other assets attached to the land are secured under Mortgage Contract No. 202126040365/HĐTC03 dated 27/10/2021, Notarization No. 5116, book No. 08/2021 at the Gia Lai Province Notary Office No. 1.
Time of seizure: from 22/04/2026 to 26/06/2026.
Reason for seizure: the borrower and the collateral parties violated obligations to repay debt and/or secure obligations under the loan agreements and mortgage contracts.
Sacombank requests that, within 15 days from receipt of the notice, the collateral holder hand over the collateral to Sacombank.
The collateral holder is required to relocate all furniture, belongings, and assets not part of the collateral out of the seized asset before the seizure date. If the borrower or collateral holder obstructs or disturbs public order, Sacombank will request local authorities to ensure security, order, and social safety during the collateral seizure.
