On the afternoon of April 22, 2026, Saigon-Hanoi Bank (SHB) held its 2026 annual general meeting at the Melia hotel on Ly Thuong Kiet street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. One notable agenda item was the bank’s announcement of a change in its brand identity.
Mr. Do Quang Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Board and Deputy General Director, represented the introduction of SHB’s new identity system. The new brand identity is inspired by the country’s S-shaped silhouette, reflecting the philosophy “heaven round, earth square.” SHB said the design signals a commitment to national identity and to supporting the country’s development.
The bank also described the design language as flexible and modern, with a technology-driven approach. SHB said the identity reflects a spirit of innovation, digital transformation, and integration as it enters a new development phase.
SHB said the unveiling at the AGM is not only a visual change but also a milestone in strategic transformation. The bank described the move as marking its transition while honoring tradition and moving forward with modern thinking to accompany the country, businesses, and citizens into a new era.
Through the new identity, SHB reiterated its position as a “Future Bank”—a national-scale, next-generation financial institution. The bank said it is committed to contributing to the country by leveraging technology and ongoing innovation, with the aim of becoming a leading financial institution regionally and globally.
Mr. Do Quang Vinh added that SHB will maintain collaboration with large corporates and strategic partners. The bank said it will focus on providing capital, products, and financial solutions to customers with broad ecosystems and value chains, while continuing to operate with a customer- and market-centric model.
SHB said the strategy is intended to expand growth potential and broaden bank participation in value chains, support enterprises in investments, enhance competitiveness, and advance digital transformation efforts.
Mr. Do Quang Hien, SHB’s Chairman, emphasized: “The new identity reflects SHB’s culture and enduring traditions, while also paying tribute to the achievements of past generations and shareholders who built SHB’s present standing. As we step into the new era, SHB will continue to accompany the nation, businesses, and people, contributing to the country’s economic development.”
Shareholders at the meeting expressed strong impressions of Mr. Vinh’s presentation and the significance of the new logo, and voiced confidence in SHB’s new directions.
