On April 21, 2026, Hai Phong City Tax Administration (Tax Office) publicly announced information that 17 individuals who are the legal representatives of local enterprises have been subjected to outbound travel suspension due to outstanding tax obligations. According to information posted on the Hai Phong City Tax Portal, these cases fall under the outbound travel suspension regime under the law on tax administration and exit-entry management. The notices also specify the amount of tax debt for each enterprise represented by these individuals. The travel suspension will apply from April 21, 2026 until the taxpayer fulfills tax obligations to the state budget. The list of taxpayers subject to outbound travel suspension includes: [images]. To check whether you are affected by outbound travel suspension due to tax debt, taxpayers can use the eTax Mobile app. First, log in with a tax account or VNeID level-2 account. After successful login, select Tra cuu thong bao, then check in the sections Administrative notices of the Tax Office (CQT) and Other notices. If you fall under the suspension, the system will display the corresponding notification in the app.
