Golden Gate, known for its restaurant brands Manwah, Kichi Kichi and Universal Tea, reported its 2025 financial results with several key figures highlighting revenue growth and a sharp improvement in profitability.
In 2025, Golden Gate’s consolidated revenue increased 16% to 7,692.5 billion VND. Total system traffic rose 15% over the period.
Cost of goods sold and services reached 2,979.8 billion VND, equivalent to 39% of revenue.
Net profit before tax was 268 billion VND, more than double the 2024 figure of 128 billion VND. Net profit after tax reached 213.8 billion VND, more than double 100.5 billion VND in 2024.
Regarding Golden Gate’s acquisition of Vietnam Coffee House Joint Stock Company (The Coffee House) from Seedcom, the company said that after paying 240.6 billion VND to buy back, The Coffee House’s revenue and pre-tax loss in 2025 before consolidation were 10.6 billion VND and 6.4 billion VND, respectively.
Since the acquisition date, The Coffee House has contributed a pre-tax loss of 73.7 billion VND to Golden Gate’s results.
Dao The Vinh, founder, board member and CEO of Golden Gate, said the company’s strength lies in the restaurant sector, where customers visit 4–6 times per month. He added that beverages—especially coffee—are a daily essential, and that The Coffee House serves as a bridge to increase consumer touchpoints.
Vinh also noted that organizational reforms at The Coffee House have been challenging and time-consuming more than expected, and that there is still “a lot to do.” He said: “There is no 100% improvement in a business, but there are 100 ways to improve by 1%.”
