Tasco Joint Stock Company (ticker: HUT, listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange) has sent a document to the State Securities Commission regarding the receipt of resignation letters from two members of the Board of Directors. Specifically, on April 1, 2026, Tasco received resignation letters from Mr. Nguyen Danh Hieu and Ms. Phan Thi Thu Thao for the position of Board member. The resignations will take effect from the time the AGM reviews and approves them. In addition to the resignations, Tasco's upcoming AGM will consider the Board's proposal to reduce the number of Board members for the remainder of the 2022–2027 term to seven members (with at least two independent members and two non-executive members). Applicants for Board membership must meet the criteria to hold a Board position and the independence criteria under the 2020 Enterprise Law, the 2019 Securities Law, and Government Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP dated 31 December 2020 detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Securities Law and the company's charter. Applicants may self-nominate or be nominated by shareholders or groups of shareholders or representatives authorized by shareholders or groups of shareholders, in accordance with the 2020 Enterprise Law and the company’s charter. As previously reported, on 18 March 2026, Tasco finalized the list of shareholders invited to attend the 2026 annual general meeting. The meeting is expected to be held in April 2026, and may be extended depending on actual circumstances but in any case not later than 30 June 2026. Details on the time and venue will be announced by the company in the notice of meeting. The detailed meeting agenda will also be announced to shareholders in accordance with applicable law and the company's charter.
