According to Viettel's 2025 annual disclosure, the group’s consolidated revenue and income reached VND 223,085 billion, up about 15.2% from 2024. In USD terms, this figure is close to USD 9 billion. Profit before tax reached VND 57,688 billion, up about 6.2% year-over-year. Net profit was VND 44,638 billion, up about 6.4%. Taxes and amounts payable to the State totaled VND 42,290 billion. As of end-2025, Viettel’s consolidated assets stood at VND 396,968 billion, up about 15.2% from end-2024. Consolidated equity was VND 224,916 billion, up about 9.2%. Notably, in Viettel’s asset structure, short-term financial investments reached VND 177,438 billion at end-2025, up from VND 153,033 billion earlier in the year. This figure accounts for nearly 45% of the group’s total consolidated assets. Another notable indicator is the average income of employees at the parent company Viettel at VND 53.7 million per person per month. At current exchange rates, this equals more than USD 2,000 per month. Across the group, average employee compensation stood at VND 36 million per month. During 2020-2025, Viettel’s revenue grew by about 8.5% per year on average. Pre-tax profit rose about 7.9% per year. Total assets grew faster, with an average growth rate of about 10.2% per year in the same period. Earlier, at the 2025 annual summary, Viettel’s revenue in overseas markets rose 23.9%, the highest in nine years. Among the 10 countries Viettel invested in, the group remained the largest mobile operator in seven markets, including Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, East Timor, Burundi, Haiti, and Mozambique. International milestones are a standout feature of Viettel’s development journey. From a domestic telecom operator, the group has expanded into many regions, building telecom infrastructure, providing digital services, and gradually establishing a position in foreign markets. In terms of brand value, Viettel is valued at USD 7.9 billion, the largest telecom operator in Southeast Asia, among the top 20 telecom brands globally, and the only Vietnamese company on Brand Finance’s Global 500 list. Not only a telecom operator. Domestically, Viettel continues expanding digital infrastructure. In 2025, the group reported 30,000 5G base stations and started construction of three data centers of large and mega scale. In addition to telecommunications, Viettel participates in high-tech manufacturing, R&D, logistics, and digital transformation. In 2025, the group announced mass production and equipping the Ministry of Defense with several key weapons; it also successfully tested a high-tech long-range weapon. In research, Viettel published 406 international scientific papers and holds 175 domestic patents and 41 international patents.
