On May 11, 2026, Bidiphar – Bình Định Pharmaceutical – Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (HOSE: DBD) and Citek formally kicked off a digital transformation project with scope: transforming the governance management system to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, implementing CSV to meet GMP-EU standards, applying IFRS, deploying QR Code, and building a Data Warehouse & BI platform. The project marks a strategic step in Bidiphar's journey to elevate governance capabilities and build a sustainable development platform for the next phase. Instead of implementing improvements system by system, Bidiphar is investing in a holistic solution with a vision to standardize enterprise operations comprehensively according to international standards in the pharmaceutical field. Pham Thị Thanh Hương – General Director of Bidiphar, said: "The project is not only a shift in governance and technology platforms, but also contributes to improving operational efficiency, increasing transparency, and meeting international compliance requirements. This is a key project for Bidiphar and a milestone in corporate governance in Gia Lai." Bidiphar is one of Vietnam's leading pharmaceutical companies to implement SAP ERP since 2014. After more than a decade of operation, Bidiphar continues to invest in upgrading to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud – the next-generation ERP solution from SAP, a German technology giant with more than 50 years of experience in enterprise software. Today, SAP is used by more than 400,000 companies worldwide, including many pharmaceutical manufacturers and multinational corporations in the Fortune Global 500. The upgrade to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud is not only a technology upgrade; it is a foundation for standardizing operating processes according to SAP Best Practices and establishing a single source of truth for the entire enterprise. As the implementation partner, Citek will accompany Bidiphar from the review of operating models and standardization of processes to designing an architecture that fits the pharmaceutical sector according to global standards. All financial, purchasing, production, warehousing, quality, and sales data will be integrated on a single platform, reducing data fragmentation, increasing cross-department collaboration, and enhancing decision-making effectiveness. A highlight of the project is that the SAP system will be deployed with a CSV Compliance (Computer System Validation) approach to meet GMP-EU standards, representing one of the highest levels of control in the pharmaceutical sector. This enables Bidiphar to strengthen data governance, traceability, and change management, while boosting readiness for international inspections and assessments. Meanwhile, Bidiphar will implement accounting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), with the support of audit firms from the Big4 group. The adoption of IFRS not only enhances financial transparency but also provides a foundation for the company to access international investors, strategic partners, and capital markets more effectively. Citek is an SAP Platinum Partner – the highest partner level of SAP in Vietnam. To date, Citek has collaborated with more than 115 companies in Vietnam and abroad to implement SAP solutions and large-scale digital transformation projects across manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, retail, and commerce. With experience in advising and delivering enterprise management projects under global standards, Citek is currently a partner to many major enterprises such as Hoa Phat, Digiworld, Gelex Electric, Cadivi, Wood An Cuong, Sa Giang, Minh Phú, Heineken, Honda, …
