CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) has expanded its Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) go-to-market strategy across Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC), aiming to increase small and medium-sized business (SMB) access to its CrowdStrike Falcon platform and accelerate AI-driven cybersecurity transformation.
The company said the expansion is supported by expanded strategic partnerships with Dicker Data and Otsuka Corporation. CrowdStrike described the approach as a distributor-led aggregation model designed to enable partners to onboard MSSPs at scale and deliver managed security services that bring AI-powered protection to SMBs.
Under the distributor-led model, select distributors can recruit and activate MSSPs across JAPAC, with flexible billing through distributor marketplaces. CrowdStrike said this structure helps MSSPs build and deliver tailored offerings more quickly, while expanding access to enterprise-grade security to meet growing regional demand from SMBs.
Independent research from Canalys cited by CrowdStrike indicates that for every $1 of Falcon platform sales, partners can generate up to $7 in services revenue. The company said the finding supports its view of a services-led ecosystem as a driver of partner growth and profitability.
Jon Fox, vice president of channels and alliances for CrowdStrike Japan and Asia Pacific, said distributors and MSSPs are pivotal to scaling CrowdStrike’s reach across JAPAC and helping organizations modernize security for the AI era. He added that budget constraints, complexity, and resource limitations continue to challenge businesses, with SMBs facing these issues at greater scale.
Vlad Mitnovetski, executive director and chief operating officer of Dicker Data, said cybersecurity remains a key growth driver for the ICT channel and that many SMBs need access to additional capabilities to defend against modern threats. He said the partnership enables MSSPs to deliver AI-powered protection that helps businesses strengthen security and reduce complexity.
Yoshihiro Tokura, Managing Corporate Officer of Otsuka Corporation, said the company welcomes CrowdStrike’s MSSP go-to-market expansion to provide customers with security services that deliver real value. He said the partnership enables SMBs to strengthen their security through Otsuka’s Rakuraku EDR Premier service, which combines the Falcon platform with SOC support services from Otsuka’s Tayoreru Security Operation Center.
CrowdStrike described its Falcon platform as a cloud-native security offering powered by the CrowdStrike Security Cloud and AI. The company said the platform leverages real-time indicators of attack, threat intelligence, evolving adversary tradecraft, and enriched telemetry to deliver detections, automated protection and remediation, threat hunting, and prioritized observability of vulnerabilities.
CrowdStrike also said the Falcon platform is purpose-built in the cloud with a single lightweight-agent architecture, designed for rapid and scalable deployment, reduced complexity, and immediate time-to-value.
