The Vietnam Customs Department has announced a plan to maintain the VNACCS/VCIS system at the Customs Data Center. The maintenance will be carried out in two phases, during which VNACCS will suspend accepting customs declarations throughout each maintenance period.
Phase 1: from 09:00 on April 19, 2026 to 06:00 on April 20, 2026.
Phase 2: from 09:00 on April 26, 2026 to 06:00 on April 27, 2026.
During both phases, VNACCS will suspend accepting customs declarations for the full duration of the maintenance window. Regional Customs Offices have been asked to notify relevant units and enterprises under their management about the plan and to monitor system operations after maintenance is completed.
VNACCS (Vietnam Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System) is Vietnam’s automated customs clearance system, implemented since 2014 to automate customs procedures. The system enables companies to submit declarations remotely, reduce paperwork, shorten clearance times, and process declarations in line with international standards.
VNACCS connects with the VCIS system to support risk management. The declaration process requires the use of digital signatures to ensure security and authentication.
In the event of technical issues, the Vietnam Customs Department directs users to contact the IT Infrastructure Group – IT Operations and Online Public Services – Information Technology and Customs Statistics Division at 0243.2242185.
Enterprises are advised to note the interruption times in advance to proactively plan imports and exports and help avoid impacts on customs clearance timelines.
