At the event, Vietnam’s Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) was honored in two major categories: - Best Market Maker - Vietnam’s Best FX Market Maker for 2025. - Top 5 Volume Traded - the top five banks by FX trading volume in 2025. Notably, Best Market Maker is the highest category, reflecting the bank’s ability to provide liquidity and its level of market participation in the role of a market maker. The awards were assessed based on actual FX trading data from more than 40 credit institutions and foreign bank branches in Vietnam on LSEG’s system under the supervision of the State Bank of Vietnam. This ensures objectivity, transparency, and a direct reflection of each bank’s market strength. This result also reflects Eximbank’s consistent strategic focus in the currency business, concentrating on: - Enhancing operating capabilities and risk governance. - Maintaining stable liquidity provision to the market. - Developing FX solutions to meet growing customer needs. By strengthening its role as a market maker, Eximbank helps corporate clients optimize FX transaction costs, improve import-export efficiency, and manage cash flow in a volatile market. Speaking at the event, an Eximbank representative said: “The awards from LSEG are of particular significance as they are evaluated on actual market trading data. Being honored in these major categories reflects our operational capability, risk governance, and our role in supplying stable liquidity to the FX market. This provides a foundation for us to continue developing comprehensive FX solutions and enhancing customer service.” As part of the program, on 9 April 2026, LSEG leadership conducted a visit and presented the awards at Eximbank’s headquarters, while discussing future directions for cooperation to raise operational standards and strengthen connections with international financial markets. With strengths in international payments, trade finance, and FX trading, Eximbank is gradually reinforcing its core capabilities to position itself as a trusted financial partner for corporate clients and other institutions on the market.
