This transportation corridor is expected to play a special role in inter-regional connectivity, helping form a new growth axis in Vietnam’s Southeast region.
Under the project plan, Dong Nai aims to complete about 70% of site clearance by the end of June 2026 to enable the project to break ground, and to hand over all land within 2026.
To maintain this schedule, the province is implementing steps in parallel, including land measurement and determining land origin, to develop compensation, support, and resettlement plans. Site clearance is described as the decisive factor because the project is large-scale and runs through areas with complex terrain and land-use conditions.
Accelerating progress is intended not only to support the Ma Da Bridge connection, but also to align with the overall Belt 4 project, a national infrastructure initiative approved by the National Assembly.
The Dong Nai People’s Committee has directed relevant agencies to coordinate closely to avoid disjointed implementation that could affect overall progress amid tightening deadlines.
The Ma Da Bridge – Belt 4 route has been studied and adjusted in scale to enhance long-term capacity. The project is divided into two main parts:
The elevated bridge is planned to be implemented under a public-private partnership (PPP), while the connecting road will use public investment.
Building the elevated bridge through the reserve is presented as a technical solution to minimize environmental impact while ensuring route continuity, requiring high technical and construction-management standards.
The Ma Da Bridge component has been initiated with a design including four motorized lanes and two lanes for non-motorized traffic, laying groundwork for synchronized nationwide deployment of the entire corridor.
Once completed, the road is expected to connect directly from the Đồng Xoài area (formerly Bình Phước) via Ma Da Bridge, then follow DT 753, DT 761, and DT 768 to Belt 4 in Ho Chi Minh City, forming a contiguous transport corridor linking localities in the region.
At present, traveling from Đồng Xoài to Biên Hòa requires using existing roads about 86 km long, with travel times of 2–2.5 hours due to infrastructure constraints and high traffic density.
After the Ma Da Bridge – Belt 4 connection is completed, the distance is expected to shorten by about 13 km, and travel time is expected to fall to roughly 1–1.5 hours. The improvement is expected to enhance transport efficiency and reduce logistics costs for businesses.
Along with Belt 4, the route is expected to form a regional transport network connecting industrial centers, urban areas, and commercial gateways. This is expected to broaden development space for the Southeast region.
The project is also expected to attract investment along the route, particularly in industrial parks and logistics services, supported by rising demand for inter-provincial connectivity. Upon completion, the corridor is expected to contribute to completing the transport network and provide new momentum for socio-economic development across the region.

Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
