Ms. Le Hoang Oanh, Director of the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, spoke at the event “CSR Day 2026 – Unlocking a New Wave of Impact,” organized by TikTok Shop on May 13. The ministry said Vietnam’s e-commerce market reached about USD 32 billion, contributing nearly two-thirds of the value of the digital economy in Vietnam in 2025.
In this context, Ms. Oanh emphasized the importance of helping Vietnamese goods and local sellers deepen their presence on digital platforms. She highlighted the cooperation model between digital platforms and local authorities to boost consumption of Vietnamese goods through e-commerce.
According to Ms. Oanh, such models not only create additional channels for Vietnamese products, but also help localities build digital business capabilities, promote regional specialties, and participate more deeply in the digital economy.
To support the overall development of Vietnam’s e-commerce, TikTok Shop announced a dedicated support package for Vietnamese goods worth VND 100 billion for the last six months of 2026.

Beyond domestic consumption programs, TikTok Shop said it plans to implement an initiative to help Vietnamese enterprises expand access to international markets through cross-border e-commerce.
Ms. Tran Thi Tan, TikTok Shop’s Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, said that when an OCOP product, a village craft, or a farmer’s livestream reaches consumers nationwide, it creates a new growth opportunity for local economies.
TikTok Shop also cited outcomes from its 2025 “Vietnamese Goods to the World” initiative, stating it helped:
