FPT has established a strategic partnership with Intel to apply artificial intelligence to develop comprehensive solutions for optimizing factory operations. In an environment of increasingly complex production activities and rising data volumes, many enterprises struggle with forecasting disruptions, optimizing production processes, and extracting real-time value from data. FPT and Intel plan to deploy an “intelligent closed-loop for the factory,” combining AI, simulation technology, and digital platforms in manufacturing to reduce decision times and strengthen resilience after disruptions, with the goal of accelerating the shift toward AI-powered autonomous factory operations.
The collaboration will combine Intel’s capabilities in high-speed simulation and digital twin technology with FPT’s experience in building data platforms and deploying integrated system projects. Intel’s Intel Automated Factory Solutions (AFS) suite—covering Intel Factory Pathfinder and Intel Factory Recon—will provide enterprises with an end-to-end, holistic view of plant operations.
Alongside Intel’s AFS suite, digital manufacturing platforms from FPT—including FleziOps (MOM+), FleziQMS (Quality Management Suite), and FleziUDP (Unified Data Platform)—together with MES (Manufacturing Execution System), are intended to synchronize data and enable unified, seamless operation across the full manufacturing system.
The solutions are expected to help enterprises run thousands of AI-based simulation scenarios to determine optimal production options and identify or resolve bottlenecks before they affect output. They are also designed to support optimization of scheduling and material flow across complex production lines, while enabling real-time visualization and analysis of plant operations through the digital twin model.
Paul Schneider, Intel’s Chief Engineer, said: “Manufacturing is one of the most complex environments in the world. To optimize production, you need a connected smart system rather than discrete tools. Partnering with FPT helps expand Intel’s plant-optimization technologies and supports manufacturers to effectively leverage AI-based data analytics at scale.”
Nguyễn Khải Hoàn, Deputy General Director of FPT Software and head of FPT’s Americas region, said: “The manufacturing industry is undergoing rapid transformation, as AI is no longer just a support tool but actively participates in the operating process. At FPT, we’ve observed growing demand for intelligent manufacturing systems that can adapt flexibly to real-world conditions. The combination of Intel’s strengths and AI-First solutions with FPT’s global deployment capabilities will help manufacturing companies enhance adaptability and operational efficiency.”
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
