Virtune announced that the issuer has added BitGo Europe GmbH (“BitGo”) as an additional custodian for selected Virtune ETPs, operating alongside existing custodians for three additional ETPs. The change takes effect on April 30, 2026, and will be reflected in updated final terms published the same day.
Virtune said it is strengthening its ETP offering by including BitGo as a complementary custodian. The applicable custodians for each product will be specified in the final terms.
BitGo Europe GmbH is a limited liability company incorporated under German law and registered in the commercial register (Handelsregister) at the local court (Amtsgericht) in Frankfurt am Main under HRB 125175.
Virtune stated that the addition does not affect investors or trading in its ETPs and that no action is required from investors.
BitGo (NYSE: BTGO) is a digital asset infrastructure company providing the foundation for the digital asset economy. Founded in 2013 by technologist Mike Belshe, BitGo became the first to commercialize multi-signature wallets and later developed advanced Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS) technology to set the industry standard for digital asset security.
BitGo provides services including regulated custody, wallets, staking, trading, OTC services, financing, and settlement, and said it unifies these services within a single, secure environment. The company’s infrastructure is underpinned by a global footprint of regulated entities and anchored by BitGo Bank & Trust, National Association, a federally chartered digital asset bank under the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Virtune said BitGo transitioned to a public company in 2026, listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
