FPT said its role in an AI transformation project is to act as a strategic technology partner. Specifically, FPT advises the client on transitioning to an AI-enabled model to develop software for governance and operations.
FPT noted that customers are willing to invest tens of millions of USD in AI transformation even though many firms hesitate because they do not know how to start. Beyond shortening deployment timelines and saving costs, FPT said the investment helps companies build technology autonomy and reduce dependence on expensive third-party governance and operations software.
Under the approach described by FPT, once the project is completed, AI is deployed at enterprise-wide scale. FPT said AI systems can then operate autonomously, make decisions, and optimize efficiency in real time.
FPT characterized the partnership with a world-leading materials producer as an effort to “rewrite the operating system of the enterprise.” In this view, AI transformation is not limited to optimizing individual steps; it involves reconfiguring how the enterprise operates as a whole.
At FPT’s recent annual general meeting, Chairman Truong Gia Binh said AI is becoming a vital factor for all organizations. He described AI transformation as an evolution of the business, broken into three steps:
FPT said the materials producer example illustrates AI transformation at the highest level. Chairman Truong Gia Binh added that if few firms can achieve Step Two, even fewer can reach Step Three.
FPT said most of its clients target Steps Two and Three, and that it works with them to realize these goals. FPT described the effort as “massive,” requiring enterprises to be able to develop software with AI and deploy AI solutions, along with deep operational experience.
FPT said it has become an AI transformation partner for many large global groups across energy, manufacturing, and finance, positioning itself as a high-level strategic partner on AI transformation journeys.
In 2025, FPT reported AI and data revenue of VND 2,612 billion, up 40.7%. The company also said it has mastered a large portion of the AI value chain, including specialized AI models for industries, domain data, computing infrastructure, deployment capabilities, and human resources.
FPT said it owns two “AI factories” among the Top 40 most powerful supercomputers in the world. It reported developing more than 70 specialized AI models and deploying them to clients globally.
FPT also said it is partnering with technology platform developers including NVIDIA and Microsoft to develop and commercialize sector-specific AI solutions at scale.
On staffing, FPT said it has more than 30,000 engineers being trained in AI and applying AI. It also stated that all FPT students from the first grade are exposed to AI early.
FPT said its international awards and patents for AI solutions and products demonstrate readiness and competitiveness on the global stage.
FPT concluded that AI is becoming a critical competitive capability and that AI transformation is an inevitable process every company will undergo in the next 5–10 years. The company said AI transformation creates opportunities for it to raise its position, reach higher levels, and increase revenue and contract value.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
