Hyperliquid [HYPE] price saw minimal fluctuation over the last 24 hours, but its short-term outlook over the next few weeks—potentially longer—appeared bullish at press time.
Whales have been increasing their long exposure since Bitcoin [BTC] broke out. Over the last two months, their bullish conviction has expanded beyond BTC to other assets available on the Hyperliquid DEX.
This accumulation trend points to strong bullish sentiment among whales trading on Perp DEXs (source: Glassnode).
Despite the bullish signal, it remains unclear whether the market is about to broaden further. At the time of writing, funding rates were negative, indicating that shorts were still paying longs to keep positions open.
On the charts, HYPE has been in an uptrend since mid-January, following a slanting trendline support. This has suggested bullish conditions for more than two months, consistent with the whale-driven capital inflows.
Participant sentiment also improved, rising from around 68% in late September 2025 to 81%.
The sentiment shift suggested a rebound around $40 may be coming. During the correction from $45 to $40, sellers’ strength appeared to be weakening, supported by the Bull Bear Power (BBP) indicator. However, BBP remained negative, though it improved from -10 to -0.52.
If HYPE rebounds and breaks above the prior higher high at $45, the next price target would be $50. An extreme upside target was cited in the $60 zone.
Conversely, if HYPE dips and stays below the $40 demand level, the rebound could be delayed. If that is confirmed by a retest, the bullish outlook may be invalidated.
Hyperliquid’s daily revenue was the highest among all Perp DEXs at $1.70 million. It was followed by edgeX [EDGE] with $584K and Lighter [LIT] with $255K. At press time, HYPE’s revenue was more than double the combined revenue of the other two Perp DEXs.
Over the past month, the Perp DEX sector was also the most bullish, posting gains of 41.2%, nearly double the 26% reported by the second-placed privacy coins. This aligns with the improving HYPE sentiment.
Taken together, the signals pointed toward bullish continuation for Hyperliquid. However, price action confirmation was described as necessary, and the bullish signal was noted as potentially not fully mature because funding rates were still negative.

Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
