Lynk & Co Vietnam is rolling out a large-scale promotions program across most of the models it distributes in Vietnam in April 2026. Notably, instead of direct price cuts, the new promotional policies are designed to be diversified, combining multiple forms of support; from registration tax waivers, warranty, and maintenance to fuel and operating costs. Specifically, during this month, the automaker from China continues to maintain a registration fee waiver program on many models. In particular, buyers of the large SUV Lynk & Co 09 will receive a 100% waiver of registration tax. In addition, customers are offered a 5-year free maintenance package (equivalent to about 50 million VND), helping optimize operating costs in the early years of use. Similarly, the mid-size SUV Lynk & Co 01 also applies 100% registration tax waiver for both 01 Hyper and 01 Hyper Pro variants. The 01 Hyper is currently listed at 919 million VND, with the discount equivalent to almost 92 million VND. Meanwhile, the 01 Hyper Pro is priced at 999 million, with a discount equivalent to about 100 million. In addition, buyers get a 5-year free maintenance package (about 44 million VND). In the high-performance sedan segment, the Lynk & Co 03+ also benefits from the registration tax waiver policy, but with a 50% discount. This model is listed at 1.899 billion VND, which translates to about 95 million VND in benefit. A 5-year free maintenance package is included (about 50 million VND), reducing the burden of keeping the vehicle and allowing customers to focus on an exhilarating ownership experience. Meanwhile, the urban SUV Lynk & Co 06, a more affordable model, is being offered with practical incentives. In addition to the 5-year free maintenance package (about 44 million VND), customers also receive a fuel voucher worth 20 million VND, equivalent to about 14,000 km of driving. This is seen as a different approach that targets direct operating costs, particularly suitable for younger buyers or first-time car buyers. It is also noted that Lynk & Co is offering incentives for new-energy models; during April, buyers of the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P plugin hybrid will receive a free handheld 3.5 kW charger and a wall charger 7.4 kW (potentially cash-equivalent). In addition, buyers receive a maintenance package of up to 6 years (or 80,000 km). Beyond these, the company also runs a financing program with interest rates starting at 4.99% in the initial period and flexible loan options. This is an important factor helping buyers access high-value models without heavy upfront cash pressure. Additionally, Lynk & Co continues to maintain its Carpla old-for-new program, adding a 10 million VND incentive for each transaction. This policy helps consumers shorten upgrading cycles and reduce costs when moving to newer models. Overall, the April promotions appear designed as a comprehensive solution to reduce buyers' financial burden, extending beyond simple price cuts to cover the total cost of ownership from upfront tax and maintenance to running costs and financing. From a market perspective, the timing aligns with the pre-holiday period in April when shopping and travel demand tends to rise. The promos aim to spur demand and enable customers to acquire vehicles sooner for the peak season. In the context of growing cost-conscious consumer behavior, these comprehensive incentives are expected to boost the market and make higher-segment models more accessible with lower operating costs than before.
