MB will upgrade its asset-protection solution, “Khiên chắn bảo vệ – Mất tiền MB đền,” to a newer version in Q2 2026. The move is intended to enhance the customer experience and broaden protection benefits as digital transactions and related risks continue to evolve.
MB said the upgraded version is designed to be “smarter,” with wider protection coverage and an optimized support process, aligned with the current risk landscape—particularly online fraud, fraudulent electronic communications, and fraud in digital payments.
During the upgrade, MB confirmed that all existing customer rights under the product remain intact until the expiration date stated on the certificate. Once completed, the upgraded version will be visible in the MBBank App under the Avatar/Profile section.
Under the scope of protection, the product covers common cases of online fraud where a third party initiates a transfer or unauthorized shopping from a customer’s account or card.
MB also indicated that cases where a customer is tricked into transferring money due to spoofed electronic communications may be considered for support, provided conditions are met and the case is not excluded by the policy.
In the event of a loss, MB advised customers to contact MB247 within 24 hours of the risk occurrence to receive and have the case handled. After verification, the bank will provide support and process payments within 15 days if the conditions are met.
According to an MB representative, the upgrade is not only a product improvement but also a step toward building a more proactive protection ecosystem for customers, aiming to provide convenience and peace of mind during digital transactions. MB 24/7 will support customer incidents at all times.
