Mining & Construction Vietnam 2026, an international exhibition focused on mining and mineral resources recovery and construction, officially opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) on April 21. The event features the participation of more than 200 enterprises from 17 countries and territories.
With a total display area of 15,000 m2, Mining & Construction Vietnam 2026 is held at VEC, described as Southeast Asia’s leading exhibition complex. The exhibition is designed to meet infrastructure requirements for ultra-large, ultra-heavy equipment used in mining and construction.
Organized as a specialized expo, the three-day event brings together industry players, experts, and solution providers. It highlights technology and solutions across key areas including modern mining equipment and advanced ore processing technologies; sustainable infrastructure solutions aimed at saving energy; and automation and digital transformation in management and operations.
The exhibition is organized into six zones and includes 200 companies from 17 countries and territories, such as the Czech Republic, Malaysia, India, China, and the Netherlands. Each booth showcases national strengths and highlights global trends in mining and construction technology.
Among the featured offerings are production lines for mining auxiliaries; mine electrical systems; materials, tools, and ore processing equipment; smart mining technology and automation; and heavy equipment for surface and underground mining. The technologies are presented as supporting higher production efficiency, lower operating costs, and alignment with corporate sustainability standards, including a green transition and circular economy.
The presence of leading global and domestic companies is positioned as creating opportunities for cooperation and market development for Vietnamese and regional enterprises. Listed participants include XCMG, LIUGONG (Trac Nguyên), SUNWARD, Asia Construction Equipment, Van Tai Long, HERED XYLEM, VINZA, HELUKABEL, SHELL, WEIR MINERALS, DRAEGER, ATUT, ZAMEP, SADEX, ATI VIETTRUNG, and YOKOGAWA.
Within the expo framework, a program of five seminars and three specialized activities will run over three days, supported by industry organizations including Vinacomin (Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group), the Vietnam Association of Mining Technology Science, the University of Mining and Geology, the Vietnamese Rock Blasting Engineering Association, and the Urban & Industrial Environment Institute of Vietnam.
The program is intended to provide professional knowledge, help enterprises update industry trends, share experience, and seek suitable solutions. Side activities include a gold-panning simulation area, a Lucky Wheel game area, and a Beer Fest with music.
Mining & Construction Vietnam 2026 is described as among the leading sector-specific exhibitions in mining and construction. The event also marks the launch of a series of key industrial exhibitions at VEC, including the Vietnam Industrial Exhibition Fair (VIIF), contributing to a multi-sectoral trading ecosystem and reinforcing VEC’s role as a driver of the national industrial economy.
