The Ministry of Construction calls for proactive measures to meet travel demand during the peak holiday period and to prevent transport shortages. Relevant departments should strengthen local implementation, organize traffic regulation plans to minimize congestion on major routes, especially at the Hanoi–Ho Chi Minh City connection and major transport hubs such as airports, railway stations, bus terminals, and seaports. Provincial Departments of Construction should cooperate with police and local authorities to manage transport operations tightly, plan for increased vehicles, and tightly control fare fluctuations to prevent unjustified price hikes; increase checks on vehicle conditions, drivers, safety; ensure safe operation and prevent accidents. The Ministry also requires transport, airline, and railway enterprises to plan extra trips during peak days, ensuring capacity aligns with infrastructure and safety and minimize delays or cancellations. The Ministry also requests wide publication of hotlines to receive public feedback; operate 24/7 throughout the holiday and report daily on transport, order, and traffic safety to compile for the Prime Minister.
