MuaMau Seller says it has grown its seller base and built a flexible operating model, strengthening its role in Vietnam’s e-commerce market. Since launch, the platform has moved from a new entrant to a credible option for individual sellers and small businesses, with its differentiation increasingly tied to how it addresses sellers’ day-to-day pain points.
A key indicator of progress is the expanding number of sellers on the platform. MuaMau Seller reports that its seller base is broadening beyond small businesses to include individual traders, KOC/KOL creators, and newcomers to online selling.
According to user feedback, the platform has also lowered the barrier to entry for many sellers. Ms. A in Ho Chi Minh City said: “Before, I thought online selling required a lot of preparation. But with MuaMau Seller, I save a lot of time and can still operate a standalone online shop effectively.” The platform’s approach is presented as a partial solution to the entry barrier, supporting the growth of its seller ecosystem.
The MuaMau ecosystem is built around two main applications: the buyer app, which supports product search, price comparison, ordering, and online order tracking; and the MuaMau Seller app, which provides tools for sellers to manage storefronts, post products, and monitor transactions.
To support different seller needs, MuaMau Seller offers two operating models: a fully supported system-operated model and a semi-managed model.
Alongside platform features, MuaMau has invested in brand-building. In 2025, it announced Nguyen Tran Khanh Van as brand ambassador, signaling an expansion of marketing activities in Vietnam. It later announced singer Quang Hung MasterD as an accompanying artist for campaigns in 2025–2026.
The use of celebrity collaborations is described as part of a strategy to raise brand awareness and attract younger users, who represent a significant share of today’s e-commerce audience.
After one year of operation, MuaMau Seller says it has made progress in expanding the seller base, diversifying operating models, and adapting to evolving e-commerce trends. With competition shifting from rapid growth toward efficiency, the platform aims to expand its selling ecosystem beyond Vietnam.
MuaMau’s stated ambition is to help Vietnamese sellers access international markets through cross-border solutions, positioning the platform for a more interconnected and competitive global e-commerce environment.
Overall, MuaMau and MuaMau Seller describe their approach as centered on simplicity of use, operational efficiency, and tangible value. The platform argues that if these elements are combined within a two-way ecosystem—while maintaining service quality and expanding the seller network sustainably—it could create a competitive advantage.

Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
