The Board of Directors of Sacombank has made important decisions to continue to strengthen the senior leadership team, enhance governance capabilities, and prepare for a new development phase in a manner that is effective, sustainable, and prudent. At the most recent meeting, the Board acknowledged and valued Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy's contributions during his tenure as acting Chief Executive Officer, particularly in reorganizing the organization and advancing progress on the key items of the restructuring plan. Under Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy's leadership, Sacombank has implemented many important policies, such as streamlining the organizational structure, arranging the operating apparatus along a vertical with nine business units, adjusting the personnel structure to increase the share of the sales force, thereby concentrating resources for growth. The bank has also strengthened its direct sales force, enhanced customer service capabilities, optimized operating costs, promoted digitization of processes, and reinforced internal governance. Additionally, Sacombank announced a new brand identity oriented toward a younger, more modern direction, aligned with the development strategy in the new phase. Based on this, the Board unanimously approved Mr Nguyen Duc Thuy to serve as Standing Vice Chairman of the Board, directly overseeing strategic direction, senior governance, and the bank's long-term development orientation. With proven management experience, an innovative mindset, and demonstrated leadership ability, the Board believes Mr Nguyen Duc Thuy will continue to work with the Management to drive digital transformation, modernize operations, enhance competitiveness, and lay a solid foundation for Sacombank to enter a new development phase. At this meeting, Mr Loic Faussier was appointed as Acting CEO to lead the bank's operations under applicable regulations. Mr Loic Faussier, born 1972 in France, studied Economics at Université Paris Assas. He holds two master’s degrees: a Master of Finance from Université Paris Dauphine and a Master of Business Law from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po).
