Shiba Inu outflows are at extremely low levels, a development that could be a negative sign for the token’s outlook.
With exchange outflows falling below one billion SHIB in the past day, Shiba Inu is showing a sharp decline in on-chain activity. The low level suggests a loss of momentum across the network. For a token that relies on retail participation and ongoing circulation, such a slowdown is not a neutral development.
Token withdrawals from exchanges are commonly referred to as outflows and are often associated with accumulation or longer-term holding. When outflows rise during bull markets, it can indicate that investors are removing supply from the market, which may reduce immediate sell pressure.
In the current case, the direction is different: outflows are collapsing alongside a decline in activity rather than investor confidence.
The stagnation in outflows is reflected in SHIB’s price action. The asset has entered a weak consolidation phase and formed a shallow ascending structure after a prolonged downtrend. While higher lows can look constructive at first glance, the broader setup remains negative.
Key moving averages continue to trend downward and are still capping upside attempts.
The lack of outflows aligns with waning conviction. Investors are not actively distributing large quantities, but they also are not aggressively accumulating. Instead, the market appears to be in a low-energy state with limited involvement.
