The Spring Fair 2026, themed “Connecting Prosperity—Welcoming a Brilliant Spring,” officially closed on the evening of February 13, 2026, after 12 days of activities at the Vietnam International Exhibition Center. Organizers described the event as a “booming opening drum,” leaving a lasting impression on both the public and the business community through a message of renewal, creativity, and unity.
Despite rain and cold weather, the fair attracted around 500,000 visitors. More than 3,000 booths showcased tens of thousands of premium products from across Vietnam. A key highlight was the integration of commerce and culture, with visitors not only shopping but also taking part in a “Spring journey across Vietnam,” including folk performances, clay figure-making, and traditional banh chung wrapping experiences.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, each product at the fair is presented as more than a standalone item, carrying cultural stories rooted in regional traditions. The combination of “shopping” and “cultural enjoyment” was positioned as a way to raise product value and strengthen consumer pride and trust in Vietnamese-made goods.
The fair reported that about 500,000 visitors attended, and 75% of participating units said they saw strong revenue growth, particularly on weekends. Many firms reported daily revenues ranging from a few million to hundreds of millions of dong.
Beyond sales, the event was described as a strategic platform for small and medium-sized enterprises to expand retail networks and gain direct market access. It also supported supply-chain linkages from producers to distributors and onward to consumers.
The fair also drew international delegations from India, the Philippines, Belgium, South Korea, Japan, China, and other countries, reinforcing Vietnam’s image as an attractive, safe, and promising destination for global investors.
In his closing remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chính said the fair’s success reflects domestic strength and the spirit of “Vietnamese people prioritizing using Vietnamese goods.” He emphasized that the results show confidence in hosting trade fairs at regional and international scale, while noting that this is only the start of a new mindset.
To convert “Spring opportunities” into “year-round gains,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade was tasked with finalizing the fair’s evaluation and extracting key lessons. The ministry was directed to implement the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” more effectively, shifting consumer attitudes from “priority” to “trust” and “pride” in using Vietnamese products.
The Prime Minister also urged localities to strengthen policies to improve the quality of Vietnamese goods, continue promoting the flow of goods, sustain domestic demand growth, and contribute to local and national economic growth. With the Lunar New Year approaching, authorities were asked to “fight” counterfeit goods to protect livelihoods.
He further committed to creating a transparent, fair business environment for international partners, and expressed hope that partners would continue to help bring core technology and green governance to Vietnam.
The Prime Minister said the Spring Fair has opened a “door of trust” and pointed to the guiding framework of “Party leadership—State creation—Public-private collaboration—Entrepreneurs at the forefront.” He stated that future fairs will feature “six improvements”: larger scale, greater stature, deeper linkages, more professional organization, broader diffusion, and greater benefits for the people.
He concluded that the Spring Fair is the “seed of prosperity” for the new era.
