At SAHA 2026, the defense and aerospace exhibition held in Istanbul, Turkey, Viettel High Tech, a unit under Viettel Group, displayed more than 70 products in the field of high-tech defense. Through the region’s largest military expo, Viettel’s booth showcased technologies developed, researched, and produced by Viettel, highlighting Vietnam’s defense industry capabilities.
SAHA has been held biennially since 2018 and is among the world’s largest international defense and aerospace exhibitions. This year’s fair welcomed 872 visitors, organized 216 signing ceremonies with a total value of USD 26.5 billion, and debuted 218 new defense technology products and solutions across multiple fields.
Vietnamese representatives at SAHA 2026 highlighted Viettel High Tech’s presentation of an ecosystem of products across seven domains, built on the C5ISR operational model. The missions covered included reconnaissance and situational awareness (ISR), command and control (C2), fire control, secure communications, and training support.
The Viettel portfolio emphasized technologies aligned with modern defense trends, including electronic warfare systems with both soft and hard counter-UAV capabilities, medium-range reconnaissance UAVs, combat UAVs, and radar-controlled fire using active two-way wave scanning technology. The exhibition also featured a private 5G mobile network for military use.
Viettel High Tech also showcased cooperation with leading regional defense and telecom contractors in areas such as electronic warfare (EW), UAV/anti-UAV solutions, high-power laser technology, ISR, and military electronic systems and energy infrastructure for high-tech platforms.
During SAHA 2026, Viettel High Tech pursued broad collaborations with regional defense contractors including STM, SDT, ASPİLSAN, EPROM, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, TITRA, and HAVELSAN. The cooperation areas included electronic warfare, UAV-related defense, high-power laser technology, ISR, and energy infrastructure for advanced technologies.
The cooperation focus centered on multi-layer UAV countermeasures that integrate radar surveillance, electro-optical sensing, soft countermeasures (electronic jamming), and hard countermeasures (EMP and high-power laser). The presentation reflected a global trend toward layered defense against UAV threats.
The event also highlighted a shift toward long-term industrial partnerships and subsystem integration rather than exporting finished products.
Before SAHA 2026, Viettel High Tech participated in many international defense exhibitions, gradually expanding its technological cooperation network and connecting with defense industry ecosystems in the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Premium gym chains are entering a “golden era” that is ending or already in decline, as rising operating costs collide with shifting consumer preferences toward more flexible, community-based ways to exercise. Long-term memberships are shrinking, margins are pressured by higher rents and facility expenses, and competition from smaller, more personalized…
