By the end of 2025, Vinhomes JSC (ticker: VHM) recorded 24,711 shareholders, down 22,089 from the end of 2024, a decrease of 47.2%. In 2024, the number of shareholders had increased slightly by 1,603.
Domestic and foreign shareholders both reduced their holdings. Domestic shareholders fell sharply from 45,190 to 23,422, still accounting for 91.23% of total ownership. Vingroup currently holds 69.3% of Vinhomes’ capital.
Foreign shareholders also declined from 1,610 to 1,289, reducing foreign ownership from 12.3% to 8.77%. Based on annual report figures, by the end of 2025 no foreign institution was recorded as a major shareholder.
During the shareholding reduction period, VHM shares rose strongly. On 31/12/2025, the stock closed at 124,000 VND per share, up more than 200% compared with the start of the year, lifting Vinhomes’ market capitalization to about USD 19.4 billion (roughly VND 509,000 billion). The company’s brand value was valued at USD 1.6 billion, up 14%.
As of the 7/1/2026 session, the rally continued, with VHM reaching a new high, approaching 150,000 VND per share.
At the close on 13/4, VHM traded at 122,900 VND per share. Market capitalization stood at 504,000 billion VND.
On performance, Vinhomes reported 2025 net revenue exceeding 153,000 billion VND, up 50% year-on-year. Net profit after tax for 2025 exceeded 43,000 billion VND, up 23.6% from 2024.
For 2026, Vinhomes targets revenue of 250,000 billion VND and net profit after tax of 50,000 billion VND, representing increases of 63% and 16% respectively versus the prior year.
The company plans to pay cash dividends at a rate of 60% of charter capital, equivalent to 6,000 VND per share. With about 4.1 billion shares outstanding, the total dividend payout is estimated at nearly 25,000 billion VND. This will be the group’s first dividend payment in five years.
