Vinhomes, Hòa Phát, GELEX, Kinh Bắc start a series of industrial park projects worth trillions of dong in Hai Phong in May

The Hai Phong City People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 105/KH-UBND to organize activities celebrating major holidays in April and May and the Red Phoenix Flower Festival—Hai Phong 2026. Under the plan, the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies for 15 key projects are scheduled for May, with a peak period from May 8 to May 13, 2026.

Key ceremonies in May

According to the plan, 12 projects are set to commence, including port, industrial infrastructure, and airport-related works.

Port, industrial cluster and airport projects

• Construction of berths No. 7 and No. 8 in the Lach Huyen port area within Lach Huyen Port.
• Construction, operation, and management of technical infrastructure for the mechanical and foundry industrial cluster in Thuy Nguyen ward.
• Construction of the Cat Bi Victory Monument at Cat Bi International Airport, Hai An ward.

Industrial parks and supporting infrastructure

The plan also includes infrastructure and business projects across multiple industrial parks and clusters, such as:

• Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park (Phase 1).
• Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park (Phase 1).
• Binh Giang Industrial Park in the specialized economic zone.
• Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park.
• Ngũ Phúc Industrial Park (Phase 1).
• Hoang Dieu Industrial Park.
• Tran Duong – Hoa Binh (Area A, Phase 1).
• Trang Duệ Supporting Industrial Cluster and Le Thien – Dai Ban CCN in An Phong ward.

Project scale and investment figures

Several projects highlighted in the plan include the following investment and land-area details:

• Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park (Phase 1): developed by Hai Phong Infrastructure Park JSC, a subsidiary of Taseco Land (TAL), covering 247.8 ha with total investment of about 3,939.7 billion VND. The schedule is planned from Q3/2025 to Q4/2026 for land clearance, and from Q4/2028 onward to complete infrastructure and put the park into operation.
• Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park (Phase 1): nearly 235 ha, undertaken by Hung Yen Investment and Development Group (a KBC subsidiary), with total investment around 3,403 billion VND.
• Binh Giang Industrial Park: about 148 ha, led by KBC with investment of about 1,755 billion VND.
• Trang Duệ CCN: the Sai Gon – Hai Phong Industrial Park Cluster (a KBC member) is the investor; the cluster covers 64.75 ha with more than 900 billion VND.
• Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park: developed by Vinhomes, covering 200 ha with investment of about 2,253 billion VND.
• Ngũ Phúc Industrial Park (Phase 1): almost 239 ha, with investment exceeding 5,670 billion VND by Vinhomes Hai Phong (a Vinhomes subsidiary).

Planned timing

The plan sets the peak ceremony window for May 8 to May 13, 2026, for the inauguration and groundbreaking of the 15 key projects, including the 12 projects scheduled to commence.
