Ripple USD (RLUSD) continues to see significant activity, with more than 29 million tokens removed from the Ethereum supply. In recent hours, over 29 million RLUSD tokens were burned across two transactions.
In the two burn transactions, 20,000,000 RLUSD and 9,900,000 RLUSD were burned at the RLUSD Treasury.
This followed a series of minting events. Over the last 24 hours, 18.9 million RLUSD were minted. The Ripple Stablecoin tracker reported two separate minting transactions at the RLUSD Treasury: 9,000,000 RLUSD and 9,900,000 RLUSD.
Separate analysis highlighted a longer-term outlook for stablecoin usage. Chainalysis reported that stablecoins processed $28 trillion in real economic volume in 2025.
Under a baseline growth scenario with no additional catalysts, Chainalysis projects stablecoin volumes could reach $719 trillion by 2035. With additional catalysts, the figure is projected to rise to $1.5 quadrillion by 2035, surpassing today’s entire cross-border payments market.
