On April 6, 2026, APG Securities Joint Stock Company received Notice No. 847/TB-SGDHCM dated April 2, 2026 and Decision No. 280/QĐ-SGDHCM dated April 2, 2026 from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) regarding the placement of the company’s shares (ticker: APG) on a warning list, effective from April 9, 2026.
The HOSE action follows a qualified opinion issued by the audit firm on APG’s 2025 financial statements.
In particular, the auditor stated it could not estimate the impairment allowance required for (i) personal loan receivables and (ii) APG’s investment in GK bonds.
According to the notes to the financial statements, as of end-2025 APG had other receivables from individuals totaling about VND 320 billion. Based on documents provided by the company, the auditor was unable to estimate the impairment allowance required for these individual receivables. As a result, any adjustments—if made—would affect the 2025 financial statements.
For bonds held by APG, the audited financial statements noted that as of the original maturity date of 20/09/2024, APG had not fully recovered the principal and interest on bond GKMH2124001 issued by KM Group (now GKM Holdings, HNX: GKM).
The bond has been extended to 20/09/2026; however, the extension documents do not specify collateral and collateral value for that bond lot. At the end of the financial year, the principal and interest outstanding were VND 44 billion and VND 8.5 billion, respectively. The auditor again stated it could not estimate the impairment allowance for these receivables, meaning any adjustment would affect the 2025 financial statements.
On April 6, APG stock closed at the floor price of VND 5,250 per share.
In 2025, APG reported nearly VND 347 billion in operating revenue, up about threefold compared with 2024. The company recorded pre-tax profit of over VND 36 billion for the full year 2025, improving from a loss of nearly VND 146 billion in 2024.
