According to the Khánh Hòa Provincial Police Department of Economic Crime, the unit recently conducted simultaneous surprise inspections at two companies sharing the same address at Lot 28 STH22, Street 29, Le Hong Phong 1 Urban Area, Nam Nha Trang ward. The two firms are TAKLA Agricultural Products Trading and Services Co., Ltd. (TAKLA), led by B.P.H (born 1995), and Japan-Phap Import-Export Co., Ltd., led by D.V.C (born 1987).
At the time of the raid, authorities found nearly 1,300 TAKLA-branded food products, including red apple candy with camel milk and almonds, Xinjiang red apples, nourishing milk tea, snow pear honey, goji honey, ginger-cinnamon rose honey, and hawthorn apple products. However, the entire stock could not be supported by invoices or origin documents.
The operation also uncovered and seized more than 250 crates of raw materials, including red apples and goji, along with various machinery used for production, processing, and packaging at the facility.
Initial verification indicates that D.V.C purchased the raw materials and resold them to B.P.H to organize processing and packaging under the TAKLA label. The products were subsequently marketed on e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop and Shopee under the accounts “Van Nam Natural” and “Red Apple Takla Xinjiang”.
Notably, the products had not been registered for product announcements nor subjected to quality testing as required by law. From June 2024 to now, initial estimates show the parties involved gained about 6 billion VND illicitly.
The case is ongoing and is being investigated for prosecution in accordance with regulations.
