Recently, Becamex IJC (MCK: IJC, listed on HoSE) announced its board resolution approving a second capital contribution to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Joint Stock Company. The company will contribute VND 36 billion, with the second-round capital contribution expected to total nearly VND 200 billion in cash. The deadline for the capital contribution is 15 April 2026. After this round, Becamex IJC’s ownership in the Ring Road 4 expressway company will be 36%.
Becamex IJC’s board approved the second capital contribution to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Joint Stock Company. The initial contributed amount is VND 36 billion, while the second-round contribution is expected to reach nearly VND 200 billion in cash. The contribution deadline is set for 15 April 2026. Following the transaction, IJC’s stake in the company will increase to 36%.
In a separate decision, IJC also approved a second capital contribution to Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chan Thanh Expressway Joint Stock Company. The approved amount totals more than VND 42.3 billion, with a deadline of 10 April 2026. After this round, Becamex IJC’s stake in that expressway company will be 20%.
The expressway company was established on 25 January 2025, with its main business focused on building road projects. At establishment, charter capital was VND 100 billion, with four founding shareholders: Becamex Group contributed VND 49 billion and Becamex IJC contributed VND 20 billion. Other shareholders included Becamex Infrastructure Development and Deo Ca Group.
The project company was formed to invest in the HCMC – Thu Dau Mot – Chan Thanh expressway project through Bình Dương Province. The project is about 52 km long and is designed as a six-lane highway with a design speed of 100 km/h.
For Phase 1, the project is financed via PPP, with four lanes, emergency stopping lanes along the route, and a roadbed width of 25.5 m. Total investment is about VND 17.4 trillion, including construction costs exceeding VND 8.833 trillion. The implementation period is 36 months from the contract effectiveness date, with expected completion in 2027.
