On the afternoon of April 14, 2026, BIDV (Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam) and Alphanam signed a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement for the 2026–2030 period at the Fairmont Hotel in Hanoi.
Under the agreement, BIDV will provide Alphanam with aligned financial solutions and banking services. BIDV will also act as a financial advisor, supporting the group in developing and implementing investment and business plans.
Representing BIDV were Le Ngoc Lam, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; Hoang Viet Hung, Deputy General Director; Doan Viet Nam, Deputy General Director; Tran Long, Deputy General Director; Lai Tien Quan, Deputy General Director; and Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao, Deputy General Director. The delegation also included leaders from BIDV Hanoi Head Office and branches in Ngoc Khanh, Hai Ba Trung, and Thai Ha.
From Alphanam, the signing event was attended by Nguyen Tuan Hai, Chairman of the Board; Nguyen Minh Nhat, Vice Chairman; and Nguyen Ngoc My, Vice Chairman, along with senior executives of the group. The event also welcomed Nguyen Canh Hong, Chairman of the Red Star Entrepreneurs Club and Eurowindow, as well as Red Star and Golden Dragon entrepreneurs and leaders of the Hoang Long Group and partner companies.
Nguyen Minh Nhat said the cooperation between Alphanam and BIDV has developed over many years, supporting major development milestones, including the deployment of Four Points by Sheraton Da Nang over a decade ago and timely support during the Covid-19 period. He described BIDV as a trusted financial partner and a foundation for the group’s growth.
He noted that building on a 25-year relationship, each milestone has been accompanied by Alphanam’s development acceleration. The 2026–2030 Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement is expected to mark a new growth phase, with BIDV continuing to support Alphanam in implementing large-scale nationwide projects, including the Alphora Muong Hoa international resort complex in Sa Pa.
As part of the collaboration, BIDV Hanoi and Alphora Muong Hoa’s subsidiary signed a loan agreement to finance The Residences at InterContinental Sapa Resort and the InterContinental Sapa Resort (within Alphora Muong Hoa’s Alphora International Resort & Residences).
The total investment for the two projects is around VND 5,000 billion, with BIDV financing nearly VND 2,300 billion.
Nguyen Ngoc My, Vice Chair of the Alphanam Board, said few destinations in Vietnam host top-tier international hotel brands such as Marriott International, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (IHG), and Accor Group. She said these global brands reinforce confidence in Sa Pa’s development and that, with BIDV’s continued partnership, Alphora Muong Hoa is expected to become an internationally recognized destination in the next decade.
She added that the involvement of international financial and operator partners is a key foundation to help ensure development quality meets global standards, while contributing to the enhancement of Vietnam’s high-end tourism and resort ecosystem in Sa Pa.
Nguyen Tuan Hai expressed gratitude to partners and guests for their presence and support, saying the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement opens a new path for Alphanam and BIDV while enabling major nationwide projects and growth momentum for the economy.
