CAEX has partnered with HashKey to develop an international-standard digital asset trading platform in Vietnam. The agreement was signed at the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026, with the parties planning to jointly build a platform designed to meet international standards and to satisfy Vietnam’s licensing requirements once the relevant legal framework is completed and implemented.
The partnership is intended to support the development of a digital asset market that can operate safely and transparently, with the goal of building long-term investor trust.
Under the agreement, HashKey will act as CAEX’s core technology partner. HashKey will grant CAEX exclusive rights to use its organization-standard trading platform technology in Vietnam to support CAEX’s digital asset trading activities.
The collaboration also includes comprehensive support from HashKey across platform architecture and security, as well as compliance-related capabilities. HashKey will lead the development of a trading platform customized and localized for the Vietnamese market.
CAEX said the selection of HashKey carries strategic significance. HashKey is described as a major brand in the digital asset sector in Hong Kong (China) and Asia, with experience in building and operating a licensed trading platform. The company’s technology and governance capabilities are described as having been proven on the international stage.
CAEX expects that combining HashKey’s technology capabilities with CAEX’s domestic leadership and legal compliance will support the growth of Vietnam’s digital asset market.
CAEX stated it is preparing across finance, technology, and compliance to take advantage of opportunities in Vietnam’s digital asset sector. The company said the collaboration further strengthens its position in the crypto-asset market, which has drawn significant attention in Vietnam.
CAEX also noted that it has taken steps to strengthen its capital capacity, expand its network of strategic partners, and improve its technology platform, positioning the company to be ready to seize opportunities in the domestic digital asset market.
