The program is aimed at teams building on Ethereum that face the cost of formal security reviews before launch. By placing money behind review costs and linking the program to audit providers, the Foundation said the initiative is intended to strengthen security across Ethereum while reducing a key barrier for teams seeking formal audits ahead of launch.
