FPT Joint Stock Company’s 2025 annual report shows the company has more than 1.7 billion shares outstanding. Of this total, 1.67 billion shares are freely transferable, while nearly 32 million shares are non-transferable.
As of the end of 2025, FPT had 127,488 shareholders, including both domestic and foreign investors. This compares with 58,429 shareholders recorded at the end of 2024, indicating a substantial increase over one year.
The report links the rise in the number of shareholders to the period following the Ất Tỵ Lunar New Year opening ceremony on February 3, 2025, when Chairman Truong Gia Binh performed a cover of the hit “Tai Sinh” with company staff. Since then, the number of shareholders has more than doubled.
The 127,488 shareholders figure is described as nearly equivalent to the capacity of Hanoi’s 135,000-seat Grand Trống Đồng Stadium under construction, which is stated to be three times the capacity of My Đình Stadium.
By shareholding level, FPT records 89,786 shareholders holding under 1,000 shares, representing 1.15% of capital. This number increased by 46,564 shareholders year-on-year, accounting for more than 70% of the current shareholder base.
More than 32,000 shareholders hold between 1,000 and 10,000 shares, representing over 25% of capital. For holdings from 10,001 to 1 million shares, FPT lists 5,425 shareholders, corresponding to 20.44% of capital.
Investors holding more than 1 million shares total 254 shareholders, representing 0.2% of the shareholder count but accounting for up to 72.88% of FPT’s equity.
By nationality, 124,385 shareholders are domestic individuals, owning around 43.71% of charter capital. In addition, 282 domestic institutions hold 17.56% of issued shares.
Foreign individual investors number 2,334 and own 0.94% of capital. Meanwhile, 487 foreign institutions hold 37.79% of the company’s shares.
The list of FPT’s 10 largest shareholders still shows Chairman of the Board Truong Gia Binh as the largest investor, holding more than 117.3 million shares, equivalent to 6.89% of capital (slightly down from 2024).
State Capital Investment and Enterprise Management (SCIC) is next with nearly 97 million shares, or 5.67% (down 0.04 percentage points from 2024). QT Company owns 3.67% of capital.
The report also notes that Pyn Elite Fund (Finland) unexpectedly entered the top 5 shareholders by holding more than 30 million FPT shares, equivalent to 1.76% of capital. This fund did not appear in the top 10 shareholders list at the end of 2024.
