GAM Esports, Vietnam’s leading esports club with a strong domestic record and an established presence on the international League of Legends scene, has been selected to join the eSports Foundation’s Club Partner Program. The club will participate alongside 40 top esports organizations in a global initiative aimed at supporting the sustainable development of the esports ecosystem and deepening fan engagement.
Now in its third year, the Club Partner Program is valued at $20 million annually. It provides sponsorships of up to $1 million for each participating club, along with strategic support and international exposure opportunities ahead of and during Esports World Cup 2026.
Since the program’s launch in 2023, it has invested more than $100 million in clubs through the Club Partner and Club Championship programs. The funding is intended to support growth across club operations, marketing, and fan engagement.
The program’s 2026 cohort includes 40 clubs that collectively reach more than 300 million fans worldwide. The initiative is designed to strengthen club-led communities and influence how audiences engage with professional-style competition across North America, Europe, the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), China, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, and Latin America.
TK Nguyen, CEO of GAM Esports, said: “At Esports World Cup 2025, GAM Esports proudly represented Vietnam on the international stage alongside leading clubs worldwide. Returning for 2026, we view this not only as an opportunity to compete at the highest level but also to strengthen Vietnam’s presence in the global esports ecosystem. The Club Partner program plays a crucial role in helping us continue to professionalize operations, from player development to fan engagement, while expanding our reach to international audiences.”
Hans Jagnow, Director of Club Relations, National Teams and Players at Esports Foundation, added: “The Club Partner Program of Esports Foundation reaches fans globally and changes how they experience esports. In previous seasons, the program has created a platform for clubs to build their brand and connect with audiences, and we are already seeing the results through the impact the program brings. With new clubs joining alongside established names this year, the program continues to expand in fast-growing markets such as Latin America, India, Turkey, and Southeast Asia, thereby reinforcing the global nature of the esports ecosystem.”
