Grab Vietnam has announced adjustments to increase service fees on several platforms, effective from April 28. The company said the increases are intended to offset operating costs, fund technology upgrades, add new features, and support promotional programs, with the expectation of strengthening resources to back driver partners.
GrabBike: the platform fee per ride will rise from 2,000 VND to 3,000 VND.
Four-wheel services (excluding GrabTaxi): fees will increase from 4,000–14,000 VND to 5,000–19,000 VND, depending on pickup area and distance.
GrabExpress: delivery fees will increase from 3,000–10,000 VND to 4,000–11,000 VND per order.
GrabFood and GrabMart: the fee per order will be 4,000–6,000 VND, up from 3,000–6,000 VND.
Be Group and other platforms said they have no plans to adjust fees at this time. Instead, during the holiday period covering Hung Kings’ Day and the 30-4 and 1-5 holidays, tech-transport platforms rolled out promotions to stimulate demand.
