Intel Products Vietnam (IPV) has become Intel’s largest assembly and testing facility worldwide, with the plant spanning 46.6 hectares. Cumulative output from 2010 to 2021 exceeded 3 billion products, highlighting the site’s role within Intel’s global manufacturing network.
After 20 years of operation in Vietnam, as of Q2 2025, IPV has exported over 4 billion products. Cumulative export value has surpassed USD 100 billion. IPV currently accounts for more than 50% of Intel’s global output and supports more than 6,000 jobs.
The facility also continues to apply Intel’s newer technologies in its products, including the advanced 18A process.
Intel is supporting workforce development in Vietnam by funding packaging and testing lines for the SHTP Training Center. The initiative is intended to help raise the quality of human resources for the semiconductor industry.
Experts say Intel’s intensified manufacturing presence in Vietnam will bring economic benefits and help propel the domestic semiconductor industry. They describe the move as an opportunity for Vietnam to strengthen its position on the global technology map while creating sustainable economic value.
In addition, IPV is transferring technology to produce server CPUs, supporting AI workforce development, promoting innovation, and collaborating on investments in renewable energy.
With strategic steps and strong investment from leading technology groups, Vietnam is described as being at the threshold of a new development era in which technology and innovation are expected to be key drivers of prosperity and sustainable growth.
